Todays Sensex Movers - 25th January 2012

Sensex Movers of the Day-----------------------------------------------------------

Tata Motors contributed rise of 23.28 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Infosys (21.03 points), Reliance Industries (15.99 points), Tata Consultancy Services (12.47 points) and Housing Development Finance Corporation (12.41 points).

However, I C I C I Bank contributed fall of 8.86 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (5.69 points), Larsen & Toubro (4.94 points), Tata Power Company (2.3 points) and Hero Motocorp (1.4 points).

Major gainers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (4.93%), Coal India (3.67%), Tata Steel (2.97%), Sterlite Industries (India) (2.97%), Maruti Suzuki India (2.12%), and TataConsultancy Services (1.60%).

On the other hand, Tata Power Company (1.07%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (0.98%), Jindal Steel & Power (0.96%), I C I C I Bank (0.74%), Cipla (0.68%), and Hero Honda Motors (0.58%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

Sensex Movers - 19th December 2011

ICICI Bank contributed fall of 27.53 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Housing Development Finance Corporation (25.85 points), Larsen & Toubro (20.93 points), H D F C Bank (19.45 points) and Bharti Airtel (17 points).

However, Tata Consultancy Services contributed rise of 2.47 points in the Sensex. It was followed by ACC (0.49 points), Reliance Communications (0.81 points), Jaiprakash Associates (1.17 points) and Maruti Suzuki India (1.47 points).

Major gainers in the 30-share index were and Tata Consultancy Services (0.31%).

On the other hand, Sterlite Industries (India) (3.30%), D L F (3.21%), Bharti Airtel (3.08%),ICICI Bank (2.82%), Larsen & Toubro (2.68%), and Tata Power Company (2.61%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
