Indian

closed with significant losses rosed primarily by banking, Oil &
Gas and realty while healthcare, Consumer durables and IT gained. The
Sensex closed at 16216 down 77 points from its previous close and
Nifty closed at 4908 down 21 points from previous close.
The
CNX Midcap index was down from 0.9% while the BSE Smallcap index lost
1.3% in today's trading session. The market breadth was negative with
advances at 432 against declines of 992 on the NSE.
