The Indian Stock market closed with
a positive note on special trading session on Saturday with gaining marginally.
Sensex closed at 17209 up 75 points and Nifty closed at 5215 up 25 points from
the previous close. CNX Midcap index was up by 0.3% and BSE Smallcap index was
up from 0.6%. Indian stock market traded in a tight band with positive bias and
was supported by private banks, auto, metals and FMCG.
