Today Indian Stock market falls in early trading session. The Sensex index opened with a decline of 22.88 points or 0.13% at 17, 234.48 while Nifty opened with a fall fo 11.45 points at 5231.70. Earlier the US stock market ended in red with Dow down with 44 points and Nasdaq down 2 odd points while asian markets trading in red this hour.
The BSE Mid and small caps decined with -0.34% and -0.12% respectively.
State Bank of Indian contributed in the fall of Sensex with 10.39 points while was followd by HDFC bank with 9 points, Housing Development Finance Corporation with 8.6 points, ONGC with 8.53 points and ICICI with 8.34 points.
ITC contributed in the rise in Sesex with 1.91 points and was followed by Sun Pharmaceutical with 0.76%, Tata Power company by 0.2 points, Reliance Communicaitons with 0.54 points and ACC withy 0.86 points.
Among the Biggest gianers in Sensex were Coal Indian with 0.48%, Cipla with 0.43%, Sun Pharma with 0.27%, ITC with 0.3% and Gail with 0.03% while Sterlite Industries with 2.72%, Hindalco Industries with 1.86%, DLF with 1.47%, SBI with 1.42%, ONGC with 1.26% and Tata Motors with 1.05%.
