Indian Stock Market was closed today with all sectors indices closed in positive note. Capital goods, banking, realty and power were the lead gainers in today's session and metal and IT too were also the significant gainers. The Sensex closed up 285 points at 17602 from its previous close and Nifty closed 90 points up at 5365. The CNX midcap index closed with 2.1% gain while the Smallcapindex was up by 1.2% in todays trade. The market breadth was positive with advances at 1022 against declines of 399 points on Nifty. The top Nifty gainers in today's trading session were JP Associates, Ranbaxy, Reliance Infra, Axis bank and the biggest losers were Hindalco, Cairn India, Sun Pharma and ONGC.
