MARKET LIVE UPDATE

The market  opens flat on Friday. The Sensex is up 36.26 points or 0.1 % at 24374.69 and the Nifty is up 14.25 points or 0.2 % at 7418.25. About 283 shares have advanced, 136 shares declined, and 36 shares are unchanged. 

Tata Steel, NTPC,ONGC, Coal India and WIPRO are top losers of the day  while Tata Motors, ITC, HUL,Kotakl Mahindra,ICICI,Sun Pharma  and Axis Bank are top gainers in the Sensex.

The Indian rupee opened lower by 12 paise at 67.66 per dollar versus 67.54 Thursday.

    

Indian Stock Market Tips For Tomorrow

The Indian Stock Market gave green signal with all sectorial indices closed upwards. Sectors like Auto, Capital goods, power and banking were the top gainers in today's trading session. The Sensex shuts up at 16454 up 434 points from its previous close and Nifty closed at 4997 up 134 points from previous close. CNX Midcap index was up from 2.1% while BSE Smallcap index was up 1.5% in today's trading session. Overall the market breadth was positvie with advances at 1146 against declines of 307 on the NSE.

Todays Top Nifty Gainers/ Losers, Market closing report

The market gained today handsomly and interest rate sensitive sectors remained top gainers of today's session. Banking outperformed all other sectors after the announcement of CRR cut and capital goods, metal and realty, too, made smart gains. FMCG was the only sector that closed with only moderate gains. The Sensex closed at 16996, up 244 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5127, up 81 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 1.7% gain while the BSE Smallcap index was up 0.7% in today's trade. The market breadth was positive with advances at 770 against declines of 452 on the NSE. The top Nifty gainers were L & T, IDFC, SBI and JP Associates while the nifty losers included Grasim, Coal India, DLF and Sun Pharma.
